"I’m lucky to receive a lot of records, but nothing like SynlakrosS. This band is destined to have a tremendous successful career"
- RICARD ALTADILL - EDITOR OF METAL HAMMER SPAIN.

SynlakrosS is a Spanish metal band built on a foundation of melodic death metal, with touches of alternative metal, nu metal, and metalcore. Sharp riffs and pounding rhythms blend with a versatile female voice capable of moving from haunting melodies to wild screams, creating an intense and energetic sound with a strong emotional edge.
Their influences include bands such as In Flames, The Gazette, Korn, Slipknot, Dir En Grey, and Lamb of God, among others.
SynlakrosS was formed in 2008 by Pablo “Roro,” with the full lineup completed in 2010. Since then, the band has built a solid worldwide fanbase through their passionate music, charismatic stage presence, and close connection with their audience.
In 2011, they released their self-titled demo, SynlakrosS, followed by their first full-length album, Melodichrome, in 2013. The singles “Wish I Had An Angel” (2014) and “Dragon Egg” (2015) followed. That same year, the band won the Metal Category at the Granito Rock Festival, earning national recognition and the opportunity to share the stage with major Spanish acts such as Saratoga and Vita Imana, as well as internationally renowned Angelus Apatrida.
Their second album, Death Bullets For A Forajido, released on May 26th, 2016, marked a turning point in their career. The album received excellent reviews worldwide and led the band to share the stage with international acts such as The Agonist, Jinjer, and Primal Fear. The release also earned SynlakrosS several awards from national and international media, including Breakthrough Band of the Year, Best Album, Best Album Artwork, and Best Music Video.
Their evolution continued with Malice Murder in 2018, an album exploring themes of supernatural horror, violence, satanism, and sensuality. With this release, SynlakrosS toured Portugal, England, and Wales.
In 2021, they released their fourth album, 0K4M1, a dark yet beautiful and energetic concept album telling the story of a half-human, half-alien creature sending a message from somewhere millions of light-years away.
This was followed by Ideas Are Bulletproof in March 2022, an EP featuring three songs originally included in their 2011 demo, rewritten and re-recorded to commemorate its tenth anniversary and showcase the band's musical, technical, and compositional evolution.
That same year, SynlakrosS won the Resurrection Fest Band Contest, performing at one of Spain’s most prestigious metal festivals alongside artists such as Judas Priest, Bring Me The Horizon, and Avenged Sevenfold. They also performed in Germany for the first time at MISE Open Air, sharing the stage with Rage.
In 2023, the band finally embarked on their first full European tour, originally planned for 2020 but postponed due to the COVID years. The tour took them through Germany, Switzerland, France, Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic, England, and Belgium.
In 2024, SynlakrosS released the singles “You Only Live Once,” “Bunnies And Bows,” “Mental Breakdown,” and “Freak,” all included on their album Mental Parasites, released on October 3rd, 2024. That same year, they performed at MISE Open Air and Andernach Metal Days in Germany, as well as Hell Open Air in Belgium, sharing the stage with Ensiferum, Onslaught, Crypta, and Cobra Spell.
On October 29th, 2024, catastrophic flooding devastated part of Valencia and destroyed the band’s rehearsal space, resulting in the loss of most of their instruments and equipment. The tragedy forced the cancellation of all upcoming activities. Combined with personal and health challenges, SynlakrosS entered a long period of silence.
But the story was not over.
On June 18th, 2026, SynlakrosS returned with “The Mire Of The Forgotten,” the first release from their upcoming EP, Names We Couldn't Save, set for release on September 3rd, 2026.
The new EP marks a new chapter for the band: one shaped by loss, resilience, and the need to keep moving forward. After everything that happened, SynlakrosS is ready to rise again.
